Why We Built This Site
Colorado's public court information is useful, but each channel answers a different question. The Judicial Branch Docket Search lists scheduled hearings. A Register of Action summarizes the chronological case history. Filed complaints, orders, and judgments come from the Combined Court clerk. Municipal clerks keep city ordinance and city-ticket files. Boulder County Court Docket brings the verified search steps, case-number conventions, access rules, and official contacts together so a reader can choose the correct source before making a request.
What You Will Find Here
- Criminal and civil dockets: how Boulder County state-court case classes and settings are searched and read
- Court dates: how to use the free Judicial Branch calendar and confirm a moved or remote setting
- Case lookup: how party, business, attorney, and case-number fields narrow a Boulder County result
- Record requests: how an ROA, filed document, plain copy, or certified copy is obtained from the clerk
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected with a Colorado court, the Clerk of Court, Boulder County, or another government agency. Those limits mean the site cannot:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Search boxes on some pages are supplied by outside providers. Each provider controls its own service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports access to this resource. Boulder County Court Docket does not set those charges or control the provider's data.
